JAIPUR: State government’s road show on Ayurveda Yoga Unani Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH) evoked good response as 45 investors signed MoUs worth Rs 2,445 crore in the presence of health minister Rajendra Rathore in Delhi.
AYUSH drug manufacturer association representative Mukesh Agarwal signed an MoU worth Rs 600 crore for developing Industrial AYUSH Village and AYUSH Park in the state. Meanwhile, Dev Education Society’s Dr Damodar Gurjar signed an MoU worth Rs 250 crore for developing Herbal Park and Ayurvedic Pharmacy in Sawai Madhopur. For establishing AYUSH Research and Training Centre in the state, Munish Kumar Purohit signed an MoU worth Rs 250 crore. Moreover, AYUSH harbonatics representative Arun Arora signed an MoU worth Rs 200 crore for establishing AYUSH Park, ayurveda college, hospital and a wellness centre on National Highway-8. Chile’s The Foundation Day Investigation Astrovedico also signed an MoU for cultivating medicinal plants, ayurveda health centre and for conducting educational activities in the state.
Besides, various other MoUs were signed for promoting AYUSH including digitization in AYUSH, its social branding, connecting AYUSH with technology. Atleast 60 investors from India and abroad took part in the road show. Health minister Rajendra Rathore appealed to the investors to invest in the state to tab the growing opportunities in AYUSH. He was speaking at Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit organised at Rajasthan House
Praising the efforts of the government in giving boost to AYUSH, Rathore said that Rajasthan is the only state, which has a AYUSH university run by the government. He said that the state has three PG colleges, eight colleges, 3,884 dispensaries, 18 district hospitals, 100 other hospitals and 9,746 registered doctors in AYUSH.
