APGH Common Entrance Test 2011

The Competent Authority appointed by Pravesh Niyantran Smiti to conduct APGH-CET for seeking admission to M.D. (Hom) course. The Pravesh Niyantran Samiti has permitted Association of Management of Homoeopathic Medical Colleges , State of Maharashtra to conduct the Entrance Test i.e. APGH-CET -2011. The CET examination is mandatory.

Procedure to attend by Individual :
Application forms and brochure will be available at Notified Centers fixed by AMHMCM on payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) by  DD in favour of “AMHMCM” payable at Mumbai. Forms can also be obtained by post from the Office of AMHMCM with an additional DD of Rs. 200/- for  postage. Candidates are requested to send the requisition on plain paper for obtaining Application form by Post. The candidate has to send said  Application form duly filled in with a DD of Rs. 2,000/- as exam, fees to AMHMCM Mumbai Office only.

D.K.M.M. College Help Line :
The candidate desire to take help of D.K.M.M. Homoeopathic Medical College, Aurangabad  the helpline of college, will help to complete full procedure i.e. Registration , Exam Hall Ticket etc. The candidate therefore should send D.D. of Rs. 5,000/- in favour of Principal DKMM HMC, Aurangabad for the help line. This facility of Helpline is made available only for those candidates who desire help for the whole admission process till the receipt of Hall Ticket of CET Exam. Rs. 5,000/- charges includes the payment of Rs. 2,200/- of AMHMCM and Rs. 2,800/-  of the college which is required to be spent on traveling, telephone, speed post, website, e-mail, correspondence and other miscellaneous expenditure. Candidates may deposit Rs. 4,000/- directly in College Account No.344502050000123 in Union Bank of India and send the receipt on Fax : 0240 – 2401709

Eligibility Criteria:
A  c a n d i d a t e   w h o   h a s   p a s s e d   f i n a l   B . H . M . S .   E x a m i n a t i o n   o r   e q u i v a l e n t qualification in Homoeopathy included in the second schedule to the Act after completing 1 year  compulsory rotating internship.

Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and surgery or equivalent qualification in Homoeopathy included in the second schedule to the Act after  undergoing a course of study of not less than 2 years duration (Graded B.H.M.S. degree)

A candidate who has completed one year compulsory internship or is likely to complete the same on or before 31/08/2010 can appear for APGH-CET-2010.

Nature of  Entrance Exam

  • All the eligible candidates are required to take the APGH-CET-2010 at their own cost.
  • The APGH-CET -2010 will be conducted on 27/06/10 between 2 pm-5 pm.
  • The APGH-CET-2010 will be conducted in Mumbai city only.
  • The examination will be conducted in English language.
  • APGH-CET-2010 paper will be of three hours duration containing 250 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Questions will be of single best response objective type with four answer options. Each correct response shall be awarded one mark.
  • There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers. Scratching, overwriting, tick mark, multiple answers will be considered as  wrong answers and no marks are awarded to them.
  • The Common Entrance Test shall be of the standard of B.H.M.S. Examination and shall cover all the subjects of B.H.M.S. Course.

3. Homoeopathic Materia Medica  – 25

4. Medicine (Gen- Medicine, Pediatrics, Psych.) –  35

5 Preventive & Social Medicine  – 20

6. Surgery (Gen Surgery, ENT, Opth. Orthopedic) –  20

7. OB/GY –  20

8. Anatomy  – 10

9. Physiology  – 15

10. Pharmacy –  25

11. Forensic Medicine & Toxicology  – 15

12. Pathology  – 15

Total : 250 questions

Time : 3 hours

Merit List

  • To be eligible for selection to 85% of the seats in PG Homoeopathy Courses a candidate  belonging to open category must secure not less than 50%  marks and a candidate  belonging to reserve category must secure not less than 40%  marks at APGH-CET-2010.
  • 15% of the seats (NRI) will be filled in by the management from candidates fulfilling the norms as laid down by the CCH.
  • TIE-BREAKER: In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in the APGH-CET-2010, the inter-se merit of such candidates will be determined in the order of preference as under:
  • The Candidate with more aggregate marks (converted into percentage) at First, Second, Third & Fourth B.H.M.S. Examination taken together shall be preferred. If the tie still persists.
  • The candidate with more aggregate marks (converted into percentage) at Final B.H.M.S. Examination will be preferred. If the tie still persists.
  • The candidate with more aggregate marks (converted into percentage) at Third B.H.M.S. Examination will be preferred if the tie still persists.
  • The candidate with more aggregate marks (converted into percentage) at Second B.H.M.S. Examination will be preferred if the tie still persists.
  • If the tie persists, the older candidate will be preferred.
  • The statement of marks of the candidate indicating Merit Number, Name, Marks Scored, will be dispatched on the address filled in the application form by the Candidate
