Dr S P Dey – one of the pillars who took Bengal’s Homoeopathy to new height and gave its pride and identity for which we all are ever grateful to him. Dr. Dey was a teacher at D.N. De Homoeopathic Medical College, Metropolitan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital and National Institute Of Homoeopathy, Kolkata – passed away on 23.01.2014
Dr. Surya Pada Dey’s lectures were spellbinding. As was usual at that time, he used to speak without any notes, without PPT or any paper and for hours together he will speak and no one from the audience will move.
His clinical acumen was something to be seen and experienced to be believed. A master in Homoeopathic prescribing who had had a commendable command over Practice of Medicine.
Had the privillege to know him personally, being personally treated by him and to learn from him.
Void that his demise created can never be filled.
May his soul rest in peace and his teachings give us strength not to deviate when the pressure and reasons are so many to deviate.
He is no more in his form but his voice will be with us for ever
