Union Minister of State for Ayush Shripad Yasso Naik has said that the Central Research Institute for Homoeopathy in Kottayam will soon be upgraded to international standards.
“The upgrading will help the institute conduct studies and researches of international standards,” he said adding the Ministry would start institutions on the lines of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in all States to promote research in alternative systems of medicine.
Ayush would open 50-bed hospitals in each district, the Minister said adding that the Centre would bear 60 per cent of the expense for the hospitals.
