A 6- day CME Programme on Research Methodology was organized for PG faculties of homoeopathic colleges, from7th to 12th November 2016 at Dr. M.P.K. Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Jaipur, a constituent college of Homoeopathy University, Jaipur (Rajasthan), with the financial support from the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
This programme was conducted for the teachers of PG Homoeopathic Medical Colleges, from all over India in order to acquaint them with the latest developments in the field of Research Methodology and Biostatistics with special emphasis on Homoeopathic Research.
During 12 scientific sessions 24 topics from Research methodology and Biostatistics were addressed including: Research perspectives in Homoeopathy; Complementing research methodology in Homoeopathic Research;Publication of Clinical Research Outcomes in Homoeopathy; Publication of Case Reports in Homoeopathy; Protocol Writing in Clinical Research for Clinical trials in Homoeopathy; Protocol Writing in Clinical Research for Prevention of Epidemic Diseases; Literature Review in Clinical Research; Enriching Materia Medica and Repertory by incorporating unnoticed IInd Grade symptoms of Hering Guiding Symptoms through clinical verification- a new research perspective; Merits and demerits of Observational Retrospective studies in homoeopathic research; Applicability of Observational Prospective study designs in Homoeopathic Research; Experimental study designs in biomedical research; Randomized controlled trials in complementary and alternative medicine- scope and limitations; Sample size and sampling techniques in biomedical research; Data collection, Data analysis and Outcome assessment; Statistical Techniques used in Clinical Research; Awareness of statistical software packages used in Biomedical Research; Ethical issues in clinical research -Human and Animal Trials; Basic and Fundamental Research in Homoeopathy; Recent researches on Agro-homoeopathy and Veterinary homoeopathy; Publication of Scientific Articles in Biomedical Journals; Ethical issues in publications in Biomedical Journals; Current Challenges in Homoeopathic Research and how to address those challenges; and Current scenario of Homoeopathic Research in CCRH.

Twenty six participants from the states of Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal attended this program.
Inaugural function was held on 7th Nov 2016 and was graced by Dr. Girendra Pal Chairperson, Dr. C. Nayak President, Dr. T. Jain, Registrar (Homoeopathy University) and Dr. Atul Kumar Singh, Principal of the College. The valedictory ceremony was held on 12th November 2016 graced by Chief Guest- Dr. R.K. Manchanda, Director General, CCRH; Guests of Honour: Dr. (Mrs.) Kamal Sethi, Deputy Advisor (Homoeopathy), Ministry of AYUSH; Dr. Anil Khurana, Deputy Director General, CCRH; Dr. N.C.
