A voluminous authentic reference book on classical and modern repertories including softwares.
The field of Homeopathic Repertory has grown with hundreds of repertories and books. It is a tough task to go through all the books and prepare a concise reference book for students and teachers, in the meantime verifying the data with the original manuscripts. This book reviews more than 84 repertories of that kind.
Repertory incorporates Information Communication Technology than any other branch of Homeopathy. Homeopathic softwares provide instant access to precise case analysis, thousands of references and patient details anywhere, at anytime. This book reviews more than 13 computer repertories.
One of the main problems that we encounter in practice is the conversion of patient’s symptoms into the language of repertory. This book includes a section on ‘How to Select the Rubrics’- that may help the newcomers and practitioners.
The contributions of the author, editor, co-authors who played their role in framing the contents are praiseworthy.
Reason for this book
“During the course of Post-graduation, especially at the time of exams, we were compelled to depend more upon the original repertories than any other reference books. The data given in such reference books were so incomplete, where some of the important topics and repertories were not given and some of them needed corrections. If we need to learn about a repertory in detail, we should approach the original repertory. But, it is very difficult to refer each and every repertory within a short period and of course one should access the library for it or else we should keep all of them along with us to refer when necessary, which is nearly impossible.
All the above reasons made us to think about this book, which is a synthesis of all the unavoidable explanations concerned with the most important repertories and related topics. This book collectively includes only the verified data concerned with the repertories, directly taken from the sourcebooks”.
