She behaves childish and remains stuck at puberty and is afraid of even facing men because of tenderness of her nature.

Below are some statements which were used to explain the nature of pulsatilla personality by our renowned Authors.

STATEMENTS AND MEANING:

  • “I will survive if I am soft and gentle, not hard and rigid.”

Pulsatilla is very simple in her needs. It is like the windflower which must bend to every gust of wind to survive only because of the stem which is soft and hollow. It is as if there is an inner weakness in the Pulsatilla woman like that of soft hollow stem of this plant, which is not able to face the hardness of the world. Consequently, she tries to cover it up by finding soft, caressing, gentle people from whom she can get the tenderness she so badly misses and needs.

In a sense there is a kind of childishness, girlishness in Pulsatilla, she remains stuck at puberty and is afraid of even facing men, of facing sexuality.

  • DESIRE FOR PEACE, LOVE AND HARMONY

Pulsatilla as an child and an adult is affectionate, Pretty, Mild, good tempered, yielding, her emotions seem to be very close to the surface, and they aren‘t suppressed or intellectualized, has Instant gratification. She is sensitive to others feelings, Cautious to keep up the relations, will make any concession to prevent a rupture in relations like Natrum muriaticum but the later suddenly cuts off relationship out of hurt feeling and the former maintains it at any cost, so that she can have a peace and harmonious relationship.

  • MOTHER’S LITTLE HELPER

Pulsatilla child is very loving and attached to their mother, always seeking hugs and kisses for comfort. They blush easily and melt with affectionate gestures. They are gentle and easy to handle, gladly helping around the house in exchange for love and cuddles. They find joy in being their “mother’s little helper,” finding fulfillment through emotional rewards like affection and closeness. Overall, they thrive on emotional connections and enjoy nurturing relationships.

  • “I DO NOT FEEL WELL, BUT CAN’T SAY WHY.”

Pulsatilla’s thoughts typically revolve around emotional fulfillment, often making them erratic and unpredictable and even in the physical symptoms are changeable, they are not alike. They are yielding, Malleable – shape according to the need, like that of the flower which sways according to the direction of the wind. Therefore it is important to avoid leading questions to such patients which may mislead to arrive at a complete picture of case taking.

In the final stage of Pulsatilla depression, she may need to be forced to eat and will refuse to speak, neglecting all responsibilities. This resembles a state of non-existence (aurum, bromium).

NASH says: Pulsatilla will often clear up those cases which have no “head or tail” to them.

  • I’ AM WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO!

Due to inner weakness, she fears abandonment and dreads being alone. She desires companionship and finds joy in caring for animals, birds, fish, and plants, as they all provide her with the company she craves. She struggles with indecision, finding it difficult to make choices, agonizing over both significant and trivial matters. She needs someone to rely on at every stage of her life, much like a flower bending in the wind and seeking a stick for support. This dependency leads her to be drawn to spiritual communities and certain dogmas, which she follows whimsically.

  • TRAITS UNKNOWN TO HER
  • Promptitude
  • Dogmatism
  • Vehemence

This is one main reason why she is so much loved by everybody who knows her.

CONCLUSION:
Pulsatilla’s inherent need for emotional support and her aversion to the harshness of the world define her gentle, affectionate nature. This leads her to seek out tender and nurturing relationships, often displaying a childlike dependency. Her unpredictable thoughts and severe responses to depression highlight her inner struggles, yet her ability to resolve unclear cases and maintain harmonious relationships showcases her unique strengths. Despite her weaknesses, Pulsatilla’s loving and gentle nature, endear her to those around her, proving that her emotional sensitivity is both her challenge and her charm.
