INTRODUCTION
Meniere’s disease is an inner ear problem that can cause dizzy spells, also called vertigo, and hearing loss. Most of the time, Meniere’s disease affects only one ear.

HISTORY OF PRESENTING COMPLAINTS
Patient came to OPD with the complaints of Vertigo, with Left side Ear block, vomiting, ringing in left ear > Lying down, Reduced hearing in left ear. Patient usually have 4 to 5 episodes of these troubles in a week.
No history of Blurred vision, Headache, Discharge from Ears, Fever.
PHYSICAL EXAMINATION
- Romberg’s Test: +ve
- Rennie’s Test: Reduced in left ear
- Weber’s Test: Conduction Reduced in Left ear
VITALS
- Temperature: 98.1 F
- BP: 120/70 mmhg
- Pulse: 87 b/m
SYSTEMIC EXAMINATION
Respiratory System: NVBS heard, no added sound.
CVS: S1 & S2 heard, no murmur
Diagnosis: MENIERE’S DISEASE
TOTALITY
- Vertigo2+
- Ear Block2+
- Ringing in left Ear2+
- Hearing is reduced in left ear
- Vomiting2+
- >Lying down
TREATMENT
On 31.12.2022
Rx :Natrum Salicylicum 200 (2P) H.S. Weekly one Dose.
1st Follow Up 14.01.2023
Only 4 episodes of vertigo was observed
Vomiting completely stopped
Rx :Natrum Salicylicum 200 (2P) H.S. One Dose in 15 days
2nd Follow up 14.02.2023
No episodes of vertigo
Vomiting, tinnitus and ear block were relieved.
CONCLUSION
As seen from the above case homeopathy works very well in treating a case of Meniere’s Disease. There are many remedies in our Materia Medica for Meniere’s Disease. A perfectly selected remedy with proper dosage can cure the patient without any adverse effects.
