Medorrhinum 200 was administered as a single dose following repertorization based on the totality of symptoms, with the 200 potency prescribed based on the patient’s susceptibility and the nature of the treatment and ailment. To avoid any accidental aggravation, a single dose of 200CH was administered. Following that, the patient was given a placebo for thirty days.
Prescription: Rx – Medorrhinum 200 /1dose Placebo 30/TDS 30 days
Results
This was a case of alopecia areata in a female aged 21. A total hair regrowth with no return of the bald patch and no external application, as evidenced by pictures. This example shows the efficacy of homoeopathy in the treatment of alopecia areata and highlights the importance of single doses and a reportorial approach based on the totality of symptoms. Homoeopathy is a specialised medical approach that focuses on the patient rather than the disease. Homoeopathy believes in a complete, approach.
Conclusion:
Homeopathy treats the patient as a whole not just the disease. Individualization plays a major role in Homeopathic prescription. It offers long lasting to permanent cure, treating the disease from its roots.
