Bengaluru: Following the orders from the Planning Commission, the State Health and Family Welfare Department has recommended Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) to start an 18-month course in modern (emergency) medicine for Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH) practitioners to practice allopathy.
The initiative is being taken up to upgrade and improve the primary health care system in the State. The recommendation has been sent to the RGUHS authorities, who will plan the training procedure and check its feasibility, said Madan Gopal, Principal Secretary, Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Department.
The Planning Commission in its report has also stated that AYUSH course curricula have about 30 percent modern medicine components and that the regulatory provision are existing in some States for integrated practice by AYUSH doctors. [Source]
MY OPINION-
It is good thinking but is worthless to Homeopathy.It is mandatory to change the syllabus of BHMS/BAMS course including the subjects like Pediatrics,Pharmacology,Virology & Immunology, so it is no need for this kind of training in allopathy. The time duration will be extends minimal 6 months of degree AYUSH course. Its make difficult to pass out degree course of AYUSH hence decreasing the unemployment of AYUSH Doctors.
It is a good news for us.At last we get the permission of using emergency medicine.ah! Now we can handle the incompatible reaction during blood transfusion, unconciousness frm hypo or hyper glycemia, poisoning case..etc……the scop and use of homoeopathy will increase ….the popularity of homoeopathy will increase….
Some homoeopath with lack of knoledge are against of this good decision….
Good news for BHMS & AYUSH Doctors in karnatka state. Thanks karnatka Government its a well step taken for improvement of social health graph of people’s.
And special information for those here abusing for its step that you selfish pure Homoeopathic Doctors make a business of Homoeopathic medicine a 5 rs remedy you sell at 250rs + examination fess you are not a true Homoeopathic doctors you earn black money by private practice and you go against rights of practice of allopathy of new generation doctors you don’t want to treat poor propels you only speak homeopathy concept to reject Allopathy knowledge in this 21st century we want to treat all kind of disease in several conditions we require Allopathy drug to treat patients its very helpful for patients life……
We work at rural are 24 hours at this area about 20-30 km no MBBS doctors and hospitals their we save patients life by allopathy emergency drugs …..each minute is important for patients life …..
So friends I request you accept allopathy …those don’t want allopathy they don’t do this special course OK you understand…
