National Institute of Homeopathy (NIH), Kolkata applications are available for the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) course.
Foreign nationals and candidates from all over India can apply.
Date of All India Admission Test : June 8, 2014
The pattern of entrance questions will be of multiple choice type, total number of questions will be 200 – Physics (60 questions), Chemistry (60 questions), Biology (60 questions) and General Knowledge (20 questions).
There will be Negative marking for wrong answers.
Application fees General: Rs 500 SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fees

Results of All India Written Competitive Test to be declared by: June 16, 2014
Admission to the BHMS course will be conducted on the basis of an entrance test. A total of 93 seats are available for the BHMS course for the academic year beginning 2014. The 5 ½ year course includes one year of compulsory internship.
- The duly filled in application form should reach the office of the Director, National Institute of Homoeopathy, Block-GE, Sector-III, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700106 on or before the last date of submission of application i.e. 12th May, 2014
- Admit Card and Prospectus will be sent by post and list of candidates with their Roll numbers and Centres will also be available in the NIH Website: http://www.nih.nic.in
- Two self addressed (six digit pin code compulsory) envelop of size 30cm X 20cm and 25cm X 12cm is to be send along with the application form for getting the prospectus through post.
