Cosmetics have been in use for thousands of years. The absence of regulation of the manufacture and use of cosmetics has led to negative side effects, deformities, blindness, and even death through the ages. Examples of this were the prevalent use of ceruse (white lead), to cover the face during the Renaissance, and blindness caused by the mascara Lash Lure during the early 1900s. The worldwide annual expenditures for cosmetics today is estimated at U.S. $19 billion
Role of Homeopathy:
Looking at the growing cosmetic consciousness of people to improve the results of Homeopathy; in conjunction with homeopathic Similimum, we used external applications and adjuvant therapies to give quick & lasting reprieve to cosmetic disorders. In the present the study using the above mentioned methodology encouraging results were found & more data is being collected for drawing further conclusion. A lot of research work still lies ahead in the field of Homeopathic cosmetology.
