As per the Gazette Notification No. 27 Dated July 11, 2014 by University Grant Commission Part III Section-4
Pertaining to specification of degrees, the UGC with approval of Central Government specified the nomenclature of degrees at all levels are given.
Along with nomenclature of the degrees, minimum entry level qualifications and duration of the programme have also given.
As per this Gazette notification
MD (Hom) with 3 year duration with BHMS as entry level qualification is the only approved postgraduate programme in Homoeopathy by UGC, Universities and other India Government bodies.
Our External MD is only two year with Diploma as the entry level qualification.
As per this order- “no University shall confer a degree in violation of this provisions of this notification.
All the Universities including affiliated colleges shall observe the minimum standards of basic qualification”
” The defaulting University/Affiliated Colleges shall be prohibited from offering any course for the award of unspecified degree – It shall be the responsibility of the University to keep watch over this”.
If it really happens then what about our respected teachers in different institutes of India & what about some persons from CCH/CCRH etc?Whether they are being questioned in this regard.?
