This is an exciting opportunity to join the core team of a small but influential charity, striving to bring about positive change by applying 21st century scientific rigour to a 200-year old medical discipline.
The Homeopathy Research Institute (HRI) is a UK-based charity dedicated to promoting high quality research in homeopathy at an international level. HRI was founded in 2009 and over the past 11 years the institute has evolved and matured to become widely acknowledged as the leading organisation worldwide for rigorous academic expertise and reliable information on homeopathy research.
As HRI grows, we are now looking for highly skilled professionals to bring additional expertise in biomedical research to the organisation as it expands its activities.
The Role
As a Research Advisor, your primary responsibility will be to provide day-to-day academic input on a variety of projects, working closely with the CEO and other members of the core team as needed.
Essential skills, qualities and expertise
- A 2:1 degree or above in biomedical or health sciences
- Ability to critically evaluate research papers
- Experience in clinical or basic research

Ideally, the successful applicant would work from the HRI office in St Albans, for a minimum of one day per week. However, as academic ability and suitability to fit in with the existing HRI team are paramount factors, remote working (UK or Europe) will be considered for the right candidate.
We look forward to welcoming a new member to our friendly, energetic and supportive team, enabling HRI to maintain our reputation for the highest academic standards as we respond to increased demand for our services.
