There is good news for patients seeking Ayurvedic and Homeopathic medicines for various ailments. All these medicines will be available at two PHCs and 19 CHCs of the district.
Apart from allopathic medicines, National Health Mission (NHM) has also provided adequate stock of homeopathic and Unani medicines to every PHC and CHC.
The AYUSH doctors at PHCs and CHCs have been provided a list of available drugs concerned and also asked to prescribe medicines of their branch to patients.
Apart from allopathic doctors, 42 AYUSH doctors posted at primary and community health centres have been apprised of the availability of Ayurvedic, Homeopathic and Unani medicines. [Source]
