Karnataka High court today stayed the proposal by the Ministry of Ayush on the implementation of Aadhar Based Geo location enabled Biometric Attendance system.
The case is filled by the Private Homoeopathy and Ayurveda College Managements of Karnataka
Stating the fact that
- This is against the recent Supreme Court Judgment on Adhar
- Adhar Should not be used for surveillance
- Adhar should not be used for attendance monitoring
- Adhar should be used only for Govt Subsidies and related activities
The next hearing on this case will be on 25 February 2019
