INTRODUCTION
- The concept is mainly based on the Home remedies which are available in the kitchen and our garden and surroundings. The main aim here is to applying the knowledge and principles of Homoeopathy preparations in the Home remedies in an emergency conditions when the medicines required are unavailable at that time.
- Homoeopathic medicines are prepared by the dilution of the drug substances and arousing their strength by the process of potentization where the energy is applied by adding the vehicle and by the force given in form of Trituration and succession.
- The Vehicles that are used in these medicine preparations are mainly sugar of milk in trituration and distilled water, strong alcohol for succession. But in the same way pure water can also be used as a vehicle in preparation of medicines in home as the alcohol and milk sugar may not be available in Home.
POTENTISATION (OR) HOMOEOPATHIC DRUG DYNAMISATION.
- It is a mathematico-mechanical process for reduction, according to the scale of crude, inert or poisonous medicinalsubstance to a state of physical solubility, physiological assimability, therapeutic activity and harmlessness, for the use of homoeopathic healing remedies.
- The ingredients that are used in the kitchen for cooking which are ranging from all kinds of Vegetables fruits, spices, etc,. belongs to particular families which may contain the similar properties almost related and active principles which produces certain kind of drug actions. With the knowledge about their families can be helpful to prepare the medicinal form then and there, as required in anytime of emergency situations. Where the medicines are unavailable such as in remote places and faraway places to Homoeopathic dispensaries.
- So when the required medicine is not available in the home, then with the guidance of any homoeopathic physician the medicine can be prepared as follows.
A) Identifying the symptoms of the patient.
B) Applying the knowledge of medicine required.
C) Applying the knowledge of the ingredient which can compensate the same medicinal properties.
D) Suggesting the procedure of preparing the medicine by simple process of crushing and dilution.
E) Administration ( Dosage, and repetition )
HOW TO PREPARE MEDICINE AND WHAT CAN BE THE REASON TO CONSIDER IT AS MEDICINE.
- ➢The pure drinking water is taken as the vehicle of medicine preparation because the water has the ‘MEMORY’ So it retains the medicinal properties when the strength is given externally by vigorous shaking or succussions. ( Process of potentisation) gains and arouses the energy and becomes activated constituents of the medicinal substance in it. and thus it acts as the potentized medicine.
CONCEPT – “WATER HAS MEMORY“
- Water memory is the purported ability of water to retain a memory of substances previously dissolved in it even after an arbitrary number of serial dilutions. It has been claimed to be a mechanism by which Homoeopathic remedies work, even when they are diluted to the point that no molecule and the original substance remains.
- Dr. Hahnemann believed that substances that are medicinally inert in their crude state are thus rendered active and effective for healing the sick, by the process of potentization (Trituration &succussion). It includes mainly two phenomenon i.e., 1) Dilution and 2)Friction. The potentization process of medicine results in micro-emulsion solution of the medicine in the solvent Water (or) Alcohol. The charge of the micro – emulsion particles is accelerated with trituration resulting in emulsion of electromagnetic waves. Thus in potentisation process, due to absorption of electromagnetic waves, very very light isotopic molecules of medicinal material are created these light isotopic molecules of medicinal material retain the properties of original drug substances. This view is supported by relativistic kinematics.

METHOD OF PREPARATION:
- Take few pieces of the material required add a tea spoon of water to it. Crush or pound it and extract the juice from it.
- Then take one or two drops of extraction into an empty 1/2 liter water bottle, add a cup of pure water, close the cap tightly shake it for 1 minute vigorously or give succussions.
- Add another cup of water again shake it well.
- Repeat this process of adding water and shaking well till the water reaches 3/4th of bottle.
- Thus medicine is prepared and ready to consume.
- It has to be taken based on the intensity of the symptoms.
- Generally, one sip once in every 1/2 hour , until better.
CONCLUSION:
In some conditions nature itself heal the patients disease state. A phrase attributed to Hippocrates – “Vis MedicatrixNaturae”, which means when an organisms left alone can often heal by themselves. This happens in case of indisposition or slight altered state of health. But when the altered state of health is in higher intensity, there the medicinal substances are required which will help the individual to return to his normal state of health. So in case of medicines which are not available during the altered or disease can utilize these techniques of preparation of medicine in home itself under the supervision of the Homoeopathic physicians.
This is an easiest and simplest way of preparing medicine and it is not only a skilled pharmacist or a qualified person can prepare but also the layman can prepare the medicines and can be beneficiary of it in any emergency conditions and helpless situations for the need of homoeopathy medicines. It is a motto for utilizing the home remedies as medicine by applying preparation of medicine using homoeopathic principles.
