Madhya Pradesh makes it compulsory for private hospitals to get NABH accreditation

Indore: The Madhya Pradesh government has reportedly made it compulsory for all the private hospitals in the state to get accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH).

Initially, the state government has directed those private hospitals which are listed to provide treatment under government schemes including Mukhyamantri Swecchanudan Yojana and others, according to Dr Sharad Pandit, joint director, health.

“In the second phase, the government will make it compulsory for all the government hospitals to get the certificate,” Dr Pandit has been quoted by Free Press Journal as saying.
