The Manager Technical CS28 for “Saving Newborn Lives in Uttar Pradesh through Improved Management of Birth Asphyxia” will work with the project team, including data collection & analysis, support other project activities, and engage with key stakeholders.
He/She will be day-to-day technical support and liaising with key state level officials and medical colleges and for project documentation. This position will be responsible for the overall delivery of project activities including the NSSK training under the mentorship and guidance of National Technical team and leadership of the Program Coordinator /General Manager State program.
He /She will support skills mapping of health providers in 35 districts and oversee training tools preparation; resuscitation skills development of health providers in existing project district s (Gonda, Aligarh and Raebarely), extended project districts and monitoring of results in the project areas. Specific activities which the Manager Technical will oversee include the following:
Engaging the National Health Mission and Directorate of Family Welfare at state & district level respectively for effective coordination , collaboration, information sharing, joint visits, report writing , paper writing, advocacy through forums and overall coordination and exchange of information to maintain close relationship and forwarding the agenda of Neonatal child survival.
Qualification and Experience: Health Graduate (MBBS / AYUSH )/ Post Graduate in Public Health , Community Health
At least 10 years of experience of working on Health & Nutrition Programmes at the grassroots in Uttar Pradesh
At least 3 years of experience of engaging with the Government Health System.
