The word leucorrhoea means a white flow from the vagina, almost any color or shade presents itself in this disease process. Any discharge that is not blood is called leucorrhoea. It is not a disease, but the product of disease, state or condition of the system. The genital canal is one of the waste gates of the body. The word really means a white flow from the vagina, yet it is only occasionally found to be white; almost any color or shade of color presents itself in this disease process.1

Different Medicines:-2

  • Aesculus hippocastanum: Leucorrhoea, with lameness of back across the sacro-iliac articulation; dark yellow, sticky corroding; worse after menses.
  • Ambra grisea: Profuse, bluish leucorrhoea,Worse at night. Discharge of blood between periods, at every little accident.
  • Ammonium muriaticum:  Leucorrhoea, like white of an egg ; with pain about the navel; brown, slimy after every urination. Haemorrhoids after suppressed leucorrhoea. 
  • Antimonium crudum: Leucorrhoea watery; acrid, lumpy.
  • Antipyrinum :Watery leucorrhoea.
  • Asarum europaeum: Tenacious, yellow leucorrhoea.
  • Aurum muriaticum: Burning, yellow, acrid leucorrhoea.
  • Berberis vulgaris: Leucorrhoea, grayish mucus, with painful urinary symptoms.
  • Borax: Leucorrhoea like white of eggs, with sensation as if warm water was flowing.
  • Bovista: Leucorrhoea acrid, thick, tough, greenish, follows menses.
  • Bufo rana: clots and bloody discharge at other times; watery leucorrhoea.
  • Calcarea arsenicosa : offensive, bloody leucorrhoea.
  • Calcarea carbonica: Leucorrhoea milky. Before menses, headache, colic, chilliness and leucorrhoea.
  • Calcarea phosphorica : Leucorrhoea, like white of egg.
  • Carbo vegetabilis: Leucorrhoea before menses, thick, greenish, milky, excoriating.
  • Ceanothus americanus :Menses profuse and yellow weakening leucorrhoea.
  • Chamomilla: Yellow, acrid leucorrhoea.
  • China officinalis : Bloody leucorrhoea. Seems to take the place of the usual menstrual discharge. Painful heaviness in pelvis.
  • Eupionum : Gushing leucorrhoea. After menses, yellow leucorrhoea, with severe backache. Pain in back, followed by a bland leucorrhoea.
  • Fagopyrum esculentum : Pruritus vulvae with yellow leucorrhoea, worse rest.
  • Ferrum iodatum : Leucorrhoea like boiled starch.
  • Fraxinus americana : Watery, unirritating leucorrhoea.
  • Graphites : Leucorrhoea, pale, thin, profuse, white, excoriating with great weakness in back. Gushing leucorrhoea.
  • Haematoxylon campechianum: Pain in hypogastrium attended with slimy whitish leucorrhoea.
  • Kalium bichromicum : Yellow, tenacious leucorrhoea.
  • Kali ferrocyanatum: profuse, pus-like leucorrhoea.
  • Kalium muriaticum: Leucorrhoea; discharge of milky-white mucus, thick, non-irritating, bland.
  • Kreosotum :Leucorrhoea yellow, acrid; odor of green corn; worse between periods.
  • Lilium tigrinum: Acrid, brown leucorrhoea; smarting in labia.
  • Mercurius solubilis: Leucorrhoea excoriating, greenish and bloody; sensation of rawness in parts.
  • Mezereum : Leucorrhoea like albumen; very corroding.
  • Murex purpurea: Leucorrhoea green or bloody, alternate with mental symptoms and aching in sacrum.
  • Natrium muriaticum : Leucorrhoea acrid, watery.
  • Natrium phosphoricum: Leucorrhoea; discharge creamy or honey-colored, or acid and watery.
  • Natrium sulphuricum: Leucorrhoea yellowish-green, following gonorrhoea in female. Leucorrhoea with hoarseness.
  • Nitricum acidum: Leucorrhoea brown, flesh-colored, watery or stringy, offensive.
  • Nux moschata : Leucorrhoea muddy and bloody.
  • Onosmodium virginianum: Leucorrhoea, yellow, acrid, profuse.
  • Palladium metallicum : Glairy leucorrhoea.
  • Paraffinum : Milky leucorrhoea.
  • Petroleum : Leucorrhoea profuse, albuminous.
  • Phosphoricum acidum : Itching; yellow leucorrhoea after menses.
  • Pulex irritans: Leucorrhoea profuse, foul, staining a greenish yellow; stains of menses and leucorrhoea very hard to wash out.
  • Pulsatilla pratensis : Leucorrhoea acrid, burning, creamy.
  • Secale cornutum :Brownish, offensive leucorrhoea.
  • Sepia officinalis : Leucorrhoea yellow, greenish; with much itching.
  • Silicea terra : A milky,acrid leucorrhoea, during urination.
  • Spiranthes autumnalis: Leucorrhoea, bloody.
  • Sulphuricum acidum : Acrid, burning leucorrhoea often of bloody mucus.
  • Syphilinum : Leucorrhoea profuse, thin, watery, acrid with sharp knife-pain in ovaries.
  • Thlaspi bursa pastoris: Leucorrhoea before and after menses; bloody, dark, offensive; stains indelibly. Sore pain in womb on rising.
  • Thuja occidentalis : Profuse leucorrhoea; thick, greenish.
  • Trillium pendulum : Leucorrhoea copious, yellow, stringy.
