NCH released National Examinations in Homoeopathy regulations for NEET AIAPGET NTET and Exit

These regulations may be called the National Commission for Homoeopathy (National Examinations in Homoeopathy) Regulations, 2023.

NEET Examination for Homoeopathy UG Courses
The National Eligibility – cum – Entrance Test for admission into undergraduate course of Homoeopathy shall be conducted in each academic year by the Commission through designated authority or agency.

National Exit Test
The National Exit Test shall be held for granting license to practice as medical practitioner of Homoeopathy and for enrollment in the State Register or National Register as a registered medical practitioner of Homoeopathy.

The pattern of the examination shall be problem based to test the clinical competency of a graduate of Homoeopathy as a registered medical practitioner in Homoeopathy and to register in the state / Central register.

Mandatory for postgraduate admission in Homoeopathy/ Clinical practice

Suppose a candidate does not clear the National Exit Test. In that case, his graduation degree shall be considered for all other job opportunities and other educational programs or courses where medical registration is not mandatory.

The National Exit Test examination shall be conducted ordinarily in the month of February and August every year.

Eligibility
(a) An intern who has completed minimum two hundred and seventy days of the internship by the last date for submission of application for the National Exit Test examination
(b) Graduates of Homoeopathy who have completed their internship
(c) Foreign Nationals whose medical qualification has been recognized in schedule III of Homoeopathy

Practitioners who have already been registered or have completed an internship before the notification of this regulation need not appear for the National Exit Test.
There shall not be any limit for attempts and duration to appear for National Exit Test.
Candidates securing 50% and above shall be declared as qualified in National Exit Test Examination

All India Ayush Post-Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET)
Test shall be ordinarily conducted in the month of April every year or on the date specified by the National Commission for Homoeopathy for that academic year

National Teacher’s Eligibility Test
Any person who desires to take up the teaching profession at the level of Assistant professor for the first time shall have to appear for this examination with 50% marks
Associate professor for the first time and having five years of experience in regular service as a Medical Officer/Research Officer is also needed to clear NTET

The pattern of the test shall be aptitude-based and shall be focused on the teaching aptitude; communication skill; classroom management; teaching, training and assessment technology; student psychology; andragogy; pedagogy

Validity : 10 year

Existing teachers are exempted from NTET clearance

Examination Cell
There shall be an independent “Examination Cell” under the Commission for coordinating or conducting different examinations mentioned above

Common Advisory Committee and Technical Committee
A common Advisory Committee and Technical Committee specific to each examination shall be constituted by the Commission in consultation with the President, Homoeopathy Education board.

Composition of the Advisory Committee.-
The Advisory Committee shall consists of the following persons, namely:-
(a) Chairperson of Commission –Chairman;
(b) President, Homoeopathy Education Board–Member;
(c) Nominee from the Ministry of Ayush–Member;
(d) Two Principals from the Homoeopathic Colleges (to be nominated by the Chairperson, National Commission for Homoeopathy)–Members; and
(e) Controller of Examinations – Member Secretary

Composition of Technical Committee (separate for each examination) .
(a) President Homoeopathy Education Board –Chairman;
(b) nominee from designated agency –Member;
(c) two experts of Homoeopathy to be nominated by the Chairperson of National Commission for Homoeopathy – Members;
(d) Health Education Technologist – Member; and
(e) Deputy Controller of Examinations (to be nominated by the Chairperson of National Commission for Homoeopathy) – Member Secretary.
