Health & Family Welfare Department Govt of Kerala issued an order against suspension and disciplinary action initiated against Dr.Shylaja.K.Nair,Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Vidyadhi Raja Homoeopathic Medical College,Nemom by the Manager through G.O.(RT)No.1840/2014/H&FWD Dated,Thiruvananthapuram, 04.06.2014.
The teaching and non-teaching staff of the college had submitted a petition to the Government requesting to maintain the status-quo so as to get teacher’s salary without any interruption in view of suspension of the above doctor.
Government had directed the principal and controlling officer to conduct an enquiry on the validity of disciplinary action, but the management failed to submit the relevant records. The Kerala High court also issued an order in favour the above doctor. So that Government of Kerala quashed the suspension order and re-instated the doctor in the same post.
But the college manager is not ready to accept, but threaten that the college will remain closed until the above doctor to remains suspended.
This is an educational institution; management should not behave like this. The manger cannot be allowed to flout the Government Orders in his favour, violating all principles of law.
Active agitation by the students and Homoeopathy Organisations may be required to re-open the college.
Sir, ego must not come in the way of career of BHMS students.
