258th Birth day Celebration of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann Panel Discussion on Homoeopathy in Epidemics Held
On the occasion of 258th birth anniversary of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, founder of Homoeopathy, Board of Homoeopathic system of medicine, Govt. of Delhi in collaboration with Delhi Homoeopathic Federation, organized a Panel Discussion on “Role of Homoeopathy in Treatment and Prevention of Epidemics on 28th April 2013(Sunday) at Pearey Lal Bhawan, ITO Delhi at 5.30 pm
Dr. A. K. Walia, Hon’ble minister of Health & Family Welfare Govt. of Delhi, was the chief guest & Mr. C.R. Garg District Medgistrate, District West was guest of honour.
The panellists were

In the Panel discussion it was observed that Homoeopathy certainly has a great role to play in the treatment as well as preventive in certain case of epidemics. As it was seen earlier in the outbreak of Gastro Entritis, Dangue, Chikungniya , Eye Flu/ Conjunctivitis and Swine Flu etc. Though it becomes difficult to come to A Genius Epidemicus.
While welcoming Dr.Walia, hon’ble Health minister,Dr.K.K.juneja, Chairman, Delhi Homoeopathic Board proposed about the Hopmopepathic Pharmacy course and Implementation of New recommendations in Delhi Homoeopathic Act .
Honb’le minister Dr.A.K.walia hailed about the functioning of Delhi Homoeopathic Board and informed the development in starting the Homoeopathic Pharmacy Course. He said the Recommendation of the Board for the Amendment in the Act is also under consideration. He said that homoeopathy is very effective and safe system of medicine. He assured about all the help for the development of the Homoeopathy in Delhi.
Dr.K.K.Juneja was honoured with Lifetime Achievement award by Entire Homoeopathic Fraternity in recognition of his selfless services to Homoeopathy in Delhi.
Padamshri Awardee Dr.V.K.Gupta was falicitated , Homeo Rtan Award was given to Dr.lal singh. A website www.ovihams.com ,a beautiful souvenir and a book was also released on this occasion. Function was attended by a large number of Homoeopathic doctors and lovers of Homoeopathy.
