The Post-GraduateDiploma in Hospital Management (PGDHM) aims to produce high quality managers needed for sustainable growth of the hospital and healthcare sector in India.

The PGDHM program is housed at Centre for Healthcare Management located at College Park Campus of ASCI at BanjaraHills.

The PGDHM programme is a two-year full time residential programme offered by ASCI and recognized by AICTE.

Eligibility : Graduates from any discipline, with a minimum 50% aggregate at graduation, are eligible for admissions. Candidates with a medical (MBBS, dental,physiotherapy, AYUSH) or life-sciences (including pharma) background are especially encouraged to apply.

The programme comprises of four semesters, which includes three semesters of classroom teaching and one semester of internship.

The curriculum has been designed to cover the conceptual and applied skills necessary for administrators/managers in contemporary hospitals.

The programme is rigorous and practice-oriented with a teaching approach that combines classroom lectures with in-class assignments, team discussions with individual and group projects and presentations, and periodic visits to various hospitals.

Practical training is an ongoing and integral part of the curriculum.
Students undertake summer projects during semester breaks.
An intensive internship period is also built into the course of study.

In addition to the core courses, workshops of various durations are arranged in several topical areas like healthcare in several topical areas like healthcare insurance, healthcare retailing, management of clinical research, etc to broader the perspectives of the students.

Every student of graduating batch have to undergo a compulsory two-day NABH workshop (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers) conducted by Quality Council of India at Center for Healthcare Management, ASCI.

The admission process includes a Written test, to be followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
