BHOPAL: With participants from 26 countries the 5th World Ayurveda Congress (WAC) to be held in Bhopal from December 7-10 in Madhya Pradesh is set to boost the Ayush and herbal sector in the country.
Focusing its energies towards promoting the Ayush sector, it would include 200 foreign representatives from 26 countries and 4000Ayurved specialists part from students, researchers and doctors. The event would be held at the Lal Parade Ground, where an arena of about 1.75 lakh square feet area would be developed.
AYUSH is India’s ancient system of medical treatment through which the disease is diagnosed and rooted out forever. The event organisers say that necessary information with regard to preventive measures and treatment through of Ayurveda would be made available at the congress.
During the International Ayurved Congress, vice-chancellors of all the five Ayurved universities would participate. The organisers estimate that about 5,000 patients will be examined. During the event, training, International Teacher-Student Convention, Panchkarma, Ksharkarm, workshops, Aryogya Expo, scientific writing on Ayurved and conference of international representatives will also be held.[Source]
