Considering the experience gained from implementation of the Scheme in the past and \u00a0nputs given by the independent evaluation, it has been decided to modify the scheme of \u00a0the Development of AYUSH Institutions under the 11\u00a0\u00a0 Plan as under:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The\u00a0\u00a0 financial\u00a0\u00a0 assistance\u00a0\u00a0 in\u00a0\u00a0 the\u00a0\u00a0 form\u00a0\u00a0 of\u00a0\u00a0 Grants-in-aid\u00a0\u00a0 under\u00a0\u00a0 the\u00a0\u00a0 Centrally\u00a0\u00a0 Sponsored \u00a0Scheme for\u00a0 Development \u00a0of\u00a0\u00a0 AYUSH Institutions\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 shall be\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 admissible\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 for\u00a0 the\u00a0\u00a0 following \u00a0component:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Infrastructural development \u00a0of \u00a0AYUSH \u00a0 Institutions<\/strong><br \/>\nU.G.\/P.G. \u00a0Upto\u00a0\u00a0 Rs.2.00\u00a0\u00a0 crore\u00a0\u00a0 for UG \u00a0and upto\u00a0\u00a0 Rs.3.00 \u00a0crore for PG institution \u00a0for the Plan period to be released \u00a0in two installments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Assistance for add-on P.G.\/Pharmacy\/Para-Medical courses\u00a0 in existing AYUSH Institutions.<br \/>\n<\/strong>Upto Rs. 3.00 crore for the\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Plan\u00a0\u00a0 period\u00a0\u00a0 to\u00a0 be \u00a0released \u00a0in \u00a0two installments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Development of\u00a0 Model \u00a0AYUSH \u00a0Institutions\u00a0\u00a0 \/Centre\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 of \u00a0Advanced Studies.<\/strong><br \/>\nUpto Rs.5.00 crore\u00a0\u00a0 for \u00a0the Plan period \u00a0to be \u00a0released \u00a0in two installments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Opening of new Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy<\/strong> Where the states \u00a0institutions\/AYUSH\u00a0\u00a0 Universities \u00a0in states\u00a0\u00a0 not\u00a0\u00a0 having\u00a0\u00a0 such \u00a0Institutions.<br \/>\nUpto\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Rs.10.00\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 crore.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria for providing funds to Govt.\/Govt.- aided AYUSH Institutions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(i) Govt.\/Govt.-aided\u00a0\u00a0 institutions\u00a0\u00a0 duly permitted by the Central\u00a0\u00a0 Government for last \u00a0five years \u00a0under Indian Medicine Central Council (IMCC) Act 1970 and Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(ii) Assistance to be given on a Detailed Project Report \u00a0\u00a0for upgradation of the Institutions \u00a0\u00a0duly appraised by a Committee comprising of the Principal of the Institution, nominee of \u00a0\u00a0the affiliating University and the nominee of the State Directorate of ISM&amp;H.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3. Eligibility Criteria for providing funds to private but not for profit AYUSH Institutions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(i) The Institution should be duly permitted by the Central Government for at least 8 years\u00a0\u00a0 under section 13C\/13A of IMCC Act.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(ii) The Institute must provide Income Tax deduction in Form \u2013 16 in respect of the teachers \u00a0\u00a0for the last three years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(iii) The Institution \u00a0must have \u00a060%\u00a0\u00a0 bed occupancy in the\u00a0 IPD\u00a0\u00a0 and an OPD average\u00a0\u00a0 daily attendance of at least 150 patients in the last three years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(iv) Appraisal of the college specific DPR by the Scheduled Bank to administer the scheme and sanctioning of the loan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>4. Eligibility Criteria for model institutions\/center of advanced studies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(i) Govt.\/Govt. aided institutions identified by the State Government and or two renowned AYUSH\u00a0\u00a0 experts\u00a0\u00a0 on\u00a0\u00a0 the\u00a0\u00a0 criteria\u00a0\u00a0 of\u00a0\u00a0 good\u00a0\u00a0 infrastructure\u00a0\u00a0 for\u00a0\u00a0 post\u00a0\u00a0 graduate\u00a0\u00a0 education\u00a0\u00a0 and research and significant contribution in the areas of academic and clinical research.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(ii) A Detailed Project Report duly appraised by a Committee comprising of the Institution Principal, a renowned expert nominated by the Department of AYUSH and nominee of \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the State Directorate of ISM&amp;H.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>5.Eligibility Criteria for New institution\/university.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(i) One \u00a0time grant \u00a0for new \u00a0institution\/university \u00a0for States not having AYUSH \u00a0institution\/AYUSH University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(ii) Allotment of minimum 7.5 acres of land by the State Government.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(iii)A Detailed Project Report duly appraised the nominees of Department of AYUSH, State Directorate of AYUSH and two renowned AYUSH experts nominated by the Department of AYUSH.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For more details and application form : <a href=\"http:\/\/www.similima.com\/pdf\/ayush-scheme.pdf\">www.similima.com\/pdf\/ayush-scheme.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Source : <a href=\"http:\/\/www.indianmedicine.nic.in\">http:\/\/www.indianmedicine.nic.in<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>Centrally Sponsored Scheme for Development of AYUSH Institutions.
