Because of the shortage of teaching staff in Govt. Homoeopathy Medical Colleges in Kerala \u2013 Admission for the three postgraduate Homoeopathy courses for the year 2012-13 delayed in Kerala.<\/p>\n
Controller of Entrance examinations, Govt. of Kerala conducted the examinations on 25th March 2012 \u00a0and published the result on April 10, 2012. Submitted the category wise select list to Controlling Officer of Homoeopathy in May first week.<\/p>\n
But the PCO is in dilemma on conducting the interview because of the shortage of teaching staff as per CCH norms.<\/p>\n
As per the Postgraduate Homoeopathy regulations amendment 2012- All the guides should be from the concerned college<\/strong> in which candidate undergoing the course. Earlier students can opt guides anywhere from India.<\/p>\n As per new regulations \u2013 A professor can accommodate three candidates, a Reader can accommodate two candidates and a Lecturer with 8 years teaching experience can take one student.<\/p>\n In the department of Materia Medica<\/strong>– No shortage of teaching staff currently. They can take 6+6 = 12 candidates.<\/p>\n In Organon of Medicine<\/strong> \u2013 One more professor is required to accommodate 12 candidates.<\/p>\n In Repertory<\/strong> \u2013 as per the current staff strength \u2013 six students only to be admitted. Two more Professors required taking entire students(12).<\/p>\n Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH) will not permit to admit all the students without staff pattern as per CCH norms.<\/p>\n The Principal & Controlling Officer of Homeopathy requested CCH and Govt of Kerala to relax norms at least for 2012-13 or permitting to appoint retired hands until required staff strength attained.\u00a0Sufficient\u00a0qualified\u00a0teachers\u00a0will be\u00a0available\u00a0from 2014\u00a0January\u00a0onwards.<\/p>\n More over few final year Postgraduate Students of Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Trivandrum with high rank in the current MD Homeopathy entrance Examinations filed a writ petition in Kerala High Court to release their testimonials for appearing to interview before completing their courses by 23rd<\/sup> \u00a0June 2012.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Because of the shortage of teaching staff in Govt.
